The Art Experience Board of Directors is proud to announce The Gateway Education Fund has
established “The Katie Serewicz Art Teaching Fund”, an endowment fund to provide assistance in
obtaining talented art teachers who will share the feelings of enthusiasm and dedication that
have been established over the years at The Art Experience. The Gateway Education Fund,
established in Chicago to help attract dedicated and skilled counselors and teachers for
disadvantaged youth of the community, has distributed some grants to communities in the state
of Michigan.
Acknowledging the effective impact of The Art Experience on its surrounding communities
resulting from years of dedicated art instruction and a high standard of practice, the Gateway
Education Fund has singled out Katie Serewicz, in particular, for her devotion and
accomplishments.
The Art Experience Board of Directors gratefully acknowledges this endowment and looks
forward to acting on its intended purpose. Thank you Gateway Education Fund for recognizing
